Overview

Our Budget

As a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization we rely on sponsorship and grants to fund our homeless program. Each city that would like our services are encouraged to donate $44,700.00 USD monthly = $1,490.00 USD daily (10 rooms a night at a value of $1,200.00 USD, seven days a week for monthly total $33,600.00 USD, vehicle maintenance $1,000.00 USD, fuel $400.00 USD, one call taker two drivers on call staff every three hour shift at a rate of $180.00 USD daily/monthly total $5,400.00 USD, PPE supplies $300.00 USD, telecommunication $300.00 USD, administration $90.00 USD per shift monthly total $2,700.00 USD, accountant $1,000.00 USD)

Standards Operations

Our V.I.O. staff are available from 7pm to 10pm seven days a week. V.I.O. staff reserves the right to refuse services to any homeless candidate, due to safety concerns. V.I.O. staff will be licensed drivers and adhere to OSHA 1910.132 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) standards.


a. Homeless candidate can not have active warrants, or be suspected of using drugs or alcohol.
b. Homeless candidate can not display violent behavior towards staff.
c. Homeless candidate will not be transported with drug paraphernalia.
d. Homeless candidate will not be transported with known injuries or serious life threatening medical conditions.
e. Homeless candidate only qualifies for services once a week, and V.I.O. will verify on scene.
f. Homeless candidate will sign V.I.O. agreement for services.

Local Authorities
  • Law enforcement must evaluate if the individual is indeed homeless and positively identify the individual in DAVID.
  • Once notified by law enforcement, we will respond on-site and transport the homeless person to a local housing facility.
    a. Law enforcement must escort all homeless candidates we transport.
  • Law enforcement will also respond to aid in checking in the homeless candidate by providing V.I.O. with the homeless person’s identification information (legal name, DOB & government ID#).

Vision Ink Outreach (V.I.O.) Homeless Initiative

V.I.O. works in conjunction with local government to aid in temporary overnight shelter resources to combat homeless. We also provide free haircuts for males to preserve their dignity. Our homeless initiative was created to addreas the local government ruling in Florida, which states, “Unauthorized Public Camping and Public Sleeping” bill, HB 1365 prohibits Florida cities and counties from allowing people to sleep in public places.
